Anti-money laundering
Last updated 8 October 2026.
Purpose
Halfonred takes deposits and pays withdrawals in stablecoin. Chips are the salon balance: one chip is treated as one US dollar when a withdrawal is priced. That rail can be abused. This policy is how we refuse to be used for money laundering, fraud, or sanctions evasion.
It is a working description of our controls, not a claim that a particular license or statute has already been signed off. Align it with counsel before you rely on it.
Who it binds
It binds the salon and every player. Staff who move money, review accounts, or talk to players are expected to follow it and to escalate anything that looks wrong.
What we may ask
We can ask for identity, age, address, and source of funds before a deposit is credited, before a withdrawal is sent, or when activity changes. We can ask again later. Refusing, stalling, or sending documents that do not match the account is grounds to freeze cashier activity and close the account.
- Government photo identification.
- A selfie or liveness check when the document alone is not enough.
- Proof of address.
- An explanation, and evidence, of where the funds came from when the amount or pattern needs it.
Activity we will not process
- Third-party deposits, or a withdrawal to a wallet you do not control.
- Moving chips between player accounts.
- Structuring amounts to stay under a check.
- Play with no real risk, used only to move value through the cashier.
- Anyone on a sanctions list we screen against, or anyone in a place we do not serve.
If a check fails
Until a requested check is finished, we can block further deposits and all withdrawals. Chips are not a transferable balance. If the check fails, or the documents are false, we may close the account and hold funds while we decide whether they can be returned, including where the law tells us to hold them.
Records and reports
We keep cashier and verification records long enough to answer a lawful request. We report activity when the law that applies to us requires a report. We do not tip off the subject of a report when doing so would be illegal.
