Sportsbook Rules
Last updated 8 October 2026.
Scope
These rules cover the Halfonred sportsbook only: how a bet is accepted and how it is settled. Accounts, cashier, and safer-play tools are in the Terms of Service and the Responsible Gambling page. If those conflict with a settlement rule below, these rules win for the bet and the Terms win for the account.
The board is virtual. Football, basketball, hockey, and soccer fixtures are generated and played out by the salon. They are not bets on a league match happening in the world.
Who can bet
You need an account in good standing, to be 18 or older, and to be outside any break or self-exclusion. We can void a bet and return the stake if it was taken while you were not allowed to play.
When the window is open
Prices are offered before a round starts. Once the matches go live, the book is closed and new bets are refused. A bet is on when the slip accepts it and the stake leaves your rack. Check My Bets. We do not rewrite a bet because a tap was a misclick or a double submit.
Markets
Each fixture can offer a moneyline, a spread, and a total. Soccer moneylines include the draw. Spreads and totals are quoted from the number on the board at the time you bet; that number is the one that settles, even if a later price shows a different number. American and decimal prices are two displays of the same bet.
Singles
- Moneyline: your side must win the match. A draw selection wins only if the final score is level. Any other result loses.
- Spread: your side’s score plus the line on your ticket must beat the other side. Landing exactly on the number loses. It is not a push.
- Total: Over wins only if the combined score is above the line. Under wins only if it is below. An exact total loses both sides.
Stakes and payout
Minimum stake is 1 chip. Maximum stake is 1,000 chips. Maximum return on a bet, including the stake, is 100,000 chips. A price that would pay more is capped at that return. Stakes are in whole chip amounts the slip accepts.
Parlays
A parlay is two to ten legs. Each leg must be a different fixture. Two picks from the same match are refused. The price is the product of the leg prices, then capped by the maximum return. Every leg must win. One loss settles the parlay as a loss. There is no reduced payout for a dead leg, because these markets do not push.
Settlement
Bets settle on the final score of the simulation, including overtime where that sport plays it. Hockey can finish in overtime or a shootout; the winner is credited one goal on the scoresheet, and that score is official. Soccer listed as full time uses that score. We do not settle on a partial clock, a broadcast delay, or a statistic shown beside the match.
Scores, clocks, and copy on the board are there so you can watch. They are not a warranty. Your bet follows the settled score, not a number you saw mid-play.
Mistakes
If a price or line is posted in error and is materially off the model for that fixture, we may void the bet and return the stake. We do not void a bet merely because it won. Collusion, automated betting that abuses the slip, or any bet placed in breach of the Terms can be voided without a return.
